- Last week was good, nothing too exciting out of the normal other than we went to Chuck-e-Cheese after Gymnastics on Thursday to celebrate Mackenzie's birthday early with my friend Stephanie and her daughter, Sidney. The girls had fun other than they are afraid of Chuck so they hid under the table for the half hour he was out in the restaurant!! Too funny!!!
- Saturday night Steve and I went to the movies while Oma watched the girls. We went to see You, Me, and Dupree........quite funny!!!! It was nice to get out for some alone time and just relax watching a light hearted movie! I also got to sneak out yesterday morning w/MaryBeth and go shopping.........that was fun!!!!
- Some very sad news on that note........Mark and MaryBeth are moving to Chicago!!! They broke the news to us Friday (over many bottles of wine that night) that Mark got a great job in Chicago and they will probably move within in the month. They both have a lot of family there and it is a great opportunity, but we are sad as we have become such good friends!!!
- I was shopping earlier in the week while Mackenzie was at school and Taylor became attached to this cute little pair of Dora sunglasses. So of course, I had to buy them for her and she loves to wear them!!! I took some pics of the little diva...so cute!!!!!
- I also went to a garage sale up the block the other day and made the best $5 purchase ever........a Little Tykes buggy that the girls just LOVE!!! They are playing with it constantly, taking turns pushing each other in it and today, I got a picture of Mackenzie "washing" her car.........so cute!
- My poor little Taylor has been under the weather today........she has had really loose stools the past few days and her poor bottom is so red and raw. Today is the fourth day, so I was hoping it would go away before Monday as then I will call the pediatrician. Today she barely ate or drank anything and had a fever off and on all day. She would only sleep if I was holding her and quite lethargic. I finally got her to go to bed about 7pm, so hopefully she feels a little better in the morning, but Im going to call the pediatrician anyway. The poor girls hates any type of medicine, so getting Tylenol or pedialite down her was tough. I did manage to snap some cute pictures of her vegging out on the couch watching TV this afternoon!!!
- And this week will be a whirlwind.......I have a girls night out dinner on Tuesday, my dad gets here Wednesday, my Birthday is Friday (Im still 29, ha ha!), Mackenzies birthday party is Saturday!!! I cant believe she will be 4 !!!!!!
