Whirlwind

Yes, life has been a whirlwind as the holidays are here!!! We had a wonderful visit w/my brother and Corinne for the week they were here and it was nice to have them here for Thanksgiving!! Mackenzie has a special bond w/her Uncle Blake, as he lived with us for a year when she was little. She was soo happy to have her buddy here, and soo sad when he had to leave.
While they were here, we went to Pittsburg one day....went to the Art and Science museum there (pretty neat, and theyhad kids activities :) then we went to the center of town where there is an outdoor ice skating rink and watched Mackenzie skate with Blake and Corinne. She caught on quite quickly!! (Needless to say, I didnt attempt it...I think my body would give out, ha ha!!)
We also went to the Rock-n-Roll hall of fame in Cleveland one day, and that was GREAT!! It was something to see!!!
Thanksgiving day was sooo nice!!! It was us, Blake and Corinne, Oma, and our friends Jason and Laurie. (They moved here for ERAC as well, and their family is in Massachussets. They are in the process of adopting a little girl from Guatemala and didnt make plans for Thanksgiving in hopes she would be home!! So we invited them here and I think they were quite grateful!!)
The day went smoothly......it was the first time I didnt feel rushed or stressed out about the meal and everything turned out great!!!!!!
We went out the Friday after and got our tree and put up all of our Christmas decorations.......it looks so festive, all we need now is snow ::))
All I want for Christmas is a white Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This past week it has been so warm I felt like we were in Californa....it has been in the low 60's. Tomorrow we should be getting a could front and hopefully some snow!!!
I have pretty much all of my shopping done, even things to be shipped out of state....thank goodness for the internet!!!!
I have a ton of pictures to upload........hopefully I can get to it today!!!
I took the girls christmas card pics myself and have to say I am quite pleased!!!!! You will have to wait to see those pics ::))
