Counting Down

Yes, we are counting down.....6 days until Christmas!!! The girls are quite excited!! We have been busy, but not incredibly so. Therefore we are enjoying some time just hanging out listening to Christmas music and wrapping gifts. I finished all of my shopping early, with just a few things left (which are now done) so we are ready for the big day!! Last night I went to a Cookie Exchange and met some really nice women. Tomorrow night Steve's area managers and spouses are coming over for dinner and then we have no other obligations!!!
We read a few Christmas books to the girls every night. One of them about the true meaning of Christmas, a little people Advent calendar, and the Night Before Christmas. Well, miss Mackenzie has all of them pretty much memorized...especially The Night Before Christmas. I am quite impressed and proud...there are some complex phrases in there!!!

Also...we were cleaning out and organzing toys today and Mackenzie (on her own ) decided she wanted to give away several of her toys to boys and girls who don't have any since she will be getting some new ones for Christmas!! Sooo sweet!!! (She also has been praying for mommies and daddies that dont have much money that they may get money and toys for boys and girls that dont have any!!) Guess we are doing something right around here ::)))
