or not!!! So today is Taylor's birthday.......the big 4!!! On your birthday in our house, we go out to dinner to the destination of your choice. We asked Taylor where she wanted to go and you will not believe where she decided on........no not MCD, not Chik-fil-A (that was actually her choice for lunch when Steve and I picked her up from preschool today), not Chuck-E-Cheese. Any guesses yet. We had to decipher where she wanted to go ourselves. She said she wanted to go to the place where they have sprite (in our house they kids rarely ever get soda, only on speical occassions when we are out) So....Steve and I were trying to narrow it down. She then gave us another clue....we went there w/out Mackenzie one time. This was big clue as we have gone out to dinner with Taylor twice when Mackenzie was sleeping over at Omas. She then gave us the third clue.....there was fire at the table. Ah Ha........the light bulb went off.....Japanese Hibachi Steak House!!!
How many four year olds pick a Japanese Steak House for their Birthday? So thats where we went and had a great time!! We went to a new restaurant near our house. They have this great strobe light that goes off while Happy Brithday plays over the loudspeaker. Then they take a picture of your group, and give you four copies of it!! Even Mackenzie said she wants to go there on her birthday now!!
Overall Taylor had a great day (other than waking up at 5am coughing with this nasty cold she has) She went to preschool, wearing a birthday girl tiara, and took cookies for her class. I went and worked out and then Steve and I picked her up and took her out to lunch, she came home and we had her big girl full size bed for her.......she was sooo excited!! My dad came in this aternoon to spend the week with us. After nap time, Mackenzie came home and she finally got to open her presents (it was agony for her to wait all day) and we had a cupcakes. Then we headed off to an early dinner as I had my monthly Premier Training tonight. So now I home and the kids are in bed!!
