Last Weekend

With all the craziness of VBS this week, I totally forgot to post about our weekend and all the pictures I took!!! We had an absolutely beautiful weekend last Sat and Sun. The weather was so nice, warm, but beautiful! Steve had scheduled a BBQ here at our house for his Area Managers, Department Heads, and their spouses and children. I think Ive got this entertaining thing down, as I was not stressed at all about Food and Fun!! Everything went smoothly and the food was great! The kids all had a blast in our yard with bubbles, our playset, balls, bikes and trikes, and the best thing of all was this new Waterslide we got!!!! We decided to look into getting one after the girls had so much fun at our 4th of July party! We found one that is not as steep, but the slide is longer (better for our age group) and it was half the price!!!! This is also Mackenzie's birthday present! (yes, she got everything early this year, but we didnt want to wait another month for backyard play stuff!!!)
Well, we had ordered the slide to make sure we had it in time for Mackenzie's party next month, and it arrived two days before our BBQ here!!!! So Steve let everyone know to bring suits for the kids and they all had soooo much fun!!!! We will definitely have it up on the weekends (not during the week so we can protect our grass!)
Sunday was church and then lunch/naps and then the girls played on it all afternoon! They both had soo much fun! Taylor can't climb up the back of the slide, so she just crawls up the front as high as she can and then lets go (my little daredevil!) She was having just as much fun as Mackenzie!!!
