Transitions...

Oh, how I had forgotten about some of these toddler transitions! Taylor (keep in mind she has been my sleeping angel with 12 hours at night and a 2-3 hour nap during the day) decided a little over a week ago she no longer wants to sleep!!!!!!!!!!!
She started climbing out of her crib last weekend and saying she wasn't tired and didnt want to go to bed. So....after her fourth time of climbing out we converted her crib into a toddler bed for safety reasons. She is sleeping in the same exact bed, minus one side, but she is NOT happy about it. She has been screaming and crying to go to sleep at night or take a nap. I have taken a lot of time this week coaxing her to sleep, but she has missed out on 3 days of naps as she just would not fall asleep. Last night it took me two hours to get her to sleep and she was then wide awake at 6am!!
Mackenzie did this transition much earlier (the littel monkey scaled her crib at 15 months!!!) Im not sure if I don't remember or if she just adjusted easier because she was still so young!
So........that has been my life this week along with a non-existent husband. My poor hubby has been worked to the bone the past month. I dont think he has even been home before the girls went to sleep but once in since we got back from our trip 1st week of July!!! He tries to make up for it on the weekend with the girls, but its tough....they miss him during the week. (as do I)
On a happier note, Mackenzie finished tennis camp today and LOVED it!!! She said she would really like to continue taking lessons. I told her we would see after soccer season is over.
I so cannot believe school starts in a month, so we have been cramming in all the fun days and playdates we can!!!!
This week is Hall of Fame week for pro football and the NEC pro golf tournament, so we spent last weekend and will spend this weekend enjoying all the festivities!!
