Springtime!

Well I think it is safe to say we are in full spring mode now!! Our weather has been gorgeous and all of our allergies are going crazy with everything blooming!! This past weekend, we had mulch delivered and Steve, the girls, and I spread it all around the flower beds. It makes such a difference!! Then we shopped for plants/vegetables, and Steve planted all of our herbs and vegetables for our garden. This year we will have strawberry plants for the girls again, my usual herbs - basil, cilantro, rosemary, thyme, parsley, and mint. Then we have green onions, jalapenos, tomatoes, cucumbers, zuchini, yellow squash, orange bell peppers, lettuce, eggplant, carrots, and radishes. Hope they all grow well this year!!!!

The girls are still doing ballet, soon to wrap up for summer. Mackenzie will have a recital on May 16th, and she is quite excited. The girls have asked to take tennis lessons this summer, so I have a call in to someone to see if we can make it happen.

Last weekend Steve went on his annual trip to Orlando with Enterprise, but they shortened it this year due to the economy so he was only gone 3 days. The weather was close to 80 the whole weekend he was gone, so the girls and I spent most of our time hanging out outside with the neighbors.

I have been busy with Premier, doing several shows, and working my business the best I can to help out financially. It feels so great to be able to contribute to the household income and help pay for the extras!!!
I also am still working out at the Y four days a week and love taking the classes as well as the social aspect :) I am taking on a pretty big challenge here in the next few weeks. I signed up today for this two week class, which starts May 15th. This class is a trial for the Y, and if it goes well, they will do several of them throughout the year. It is based off the show the Biggest Loser, but is called a HIFI (High Intensity Fitness Interval) Training class. We will be weighed in on the 15th and a short workout, and then starting Monday we will workout everyday from 9am-12pm (3 hours a day) for two weeks and see how much we can lose. They will have 6 trainers, with 5-6 people per team and also have nutrition help. I am really excited/nervous, but am looking forward to the challenge and pushing myself as far as I can.
I will let you know the results!!!

Other than all this, I havent really had much to write about, and have just been tyring to spend as much time outside with the girls as possible lately!!!

Sound like a fun class- well not fun while doing it but fun results ;) We have something like that at our Y called Smallest Winner- maybe not as involved but I know people really liked it. I think I will need to join something to get baby weight off ;)
I hope to see you at the next (not this week) Mom's group. I am thinking we should be more "together" by then... I am feeling better each day but not ready to venture out just yet :)
