Just back from the eye doctor, my baby girl needs glasses. She is actually excited, which is great! She has been complaining since school started that when she reads at night her eyes hurt. I was thinking she was just tired and getting back into the swing of school and the long days. Also, Steve just got glasses so I thought maybe she wanted to be like daddy! This week was the final clue that I needed to take her in. She is the "sports reporter" for her class this week and needed to cut out newspaper articles. When I had her read them, she really strained and her eyes teared up. She then finally told me her eyes hurt at school too when she was doing work so I called and made an appt right away.
Turns out she is farsighted with a stigmatism (sp?) just like her daddy and her mommy! We are going after school today to pick out frames... I will post a picture of her when she gets them!
