where does it go??? This summer was an absolute blur for us.......the days all ran together, swimming, playdates. sleepover, trips, work, and life in general! Now I can breathe again as school is back in session!!!! Yippee!! Mackenzie started last Tuesday, and Taylor on Wedensday. We had found out Mackenzies teacher the Friday before (they post it every year at 3pm the Friday before school starts). She got her second choice teacher, but seems to really like her so far. She was pretty upset the day we found out as her two best friends are in another class together. She is okay with the fact that she sees them at recess. Her biggest dissapointment, which even made her cry, was that the two mean girls in her grade are both in her class. It broke my heart to see her so upset, but told her it would all work out and be okay. There are a few other nice girls in her class, so I told her to hang with her. I also told her she will have to deal with people like that her whole life, so she is learning how to do it now. She came home happy every day so far, so I think it will all be okay.
Taylor was excited to start, as she has several friends in her class again this year, one of them her best friend Lindsay. She has had a great start to the school year!
Mackenzie had a great birthday as well!!! I cant beleive she is 7 years old!!! My dad was out here for the week (he got here on my birthday) and we enjoyed his compnay as always!! (We just wish he would stay a little longer... the time goes by so fast and we dont get to see him enough :))
On her actual birthday she started the soccer season (along with Taylor...too funny!!) and then we took her and her two best friends to an Indians game that night....they had a blast!!! There was an aweome fireworks show after the game so we got home VERY late!!!
The next day, we had a mellow morning and then we had a surprise party for her!! She had been saying she wanted one for 6 months, so I kept pushing it off and then decided, why not!! Steve snuck her out for a bit while I set up. She was sooo surprised...it was really cute!!! We had decided on a luau theme, she just thought it was going to be the next weekend! I had a girl come and teach the girls to hula ....music, grass skirts, everything adn we rented a snow cone machine. Now mind you....we live in Ohio, so on a what should be 80 "+ degree day in August, was barely 70!!!!! Gotta love it....... we already have fall in the air!!! I love Fall, but am not ready for it!!!!
Premier is going great for me.....keeping busy doing shows and I have some girls signed up under me so I am helping them start their business as well!
Now that school is back in, I will try to update more often!!!
